Size guide and care
Size Guide
Rings
Our rings are offered in US sizes. To find your size, measure the circumference of your finger with a flexible measuring tape or a strip of paper, then refer to the chart below.
A few tips: measure at the end of the day when fingers are slightly more swollen, and ensure the ring slides over your knuckle without forcing it.
| US Size | Finger Circumference | FR Size |
|---|---|---|
| 3 | 44.2 mm | 44 |
| 4 | 46.8 mm | 47 |
| 5 | 49.3 mm | 49 |
| 6 | 51.9 mm | 52 |
| 7 | 54.4 mm | 54 |
| 8 | 57.0 mm | 57 |
| 9 | 59.5 mm | 59 |
Some of our models, such as the Duo Ring and the Organic Ring, are adjustable and adapt to all finger shapes.
Necklaces
Our necklaces are available in various lengths depending on the model.
| 38 cm | Choker, sits at the base of the neck |
| 40 cm | Intermediate length, ideal for layering |
| 42 cm | Falls slightly on the collarbone |
For a layered effect, choose two lengths spaced at least four centimeters apart.
Caring for your jewelry
Our jewelry is crafted from solid 925 sterling silver, sometimes finished with 18-karat gold plating. These are noble, living materials: with a few simple steps, your pieces will keep their shine for years to come.
Everyday care
Put your jewelry on last, after perfume, lotion, and makeup. Cosmetics and perfumes contain alcohol, which tarnishes silver and damages gold plating over time.
Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, going to the beach, or exercising. Chlorinated water, salt water, and perspiration accelerate oxidation.
After each wear, wipe your jewelry with a soft, dry cloth. This is the most effective way to prevent darkening.
Cleaning solid silver
Silver naturally oxidizes when in contact with air: this is normal and perfectly reversible.
To revive a tarnished piece, use a special silver polishing cloth, gently rubbing in the direction of the material. For detailed or stone-set pieces, a soft-bristled toothbrush with a little warm soapy water can help reach the crevices. Dry immediately and completely.
Avoid abrasive products, toothpaste, and baking soda, often recommended online: they scratch the surface irreversibly.
Caring for gold-plated pieces
Our gold pieces are covered with a layer of 18-karat gold plating. This finish requires more gentle care than bare silver.
Clean only with a soft, dry cloth. Never use silver cleaning products on a gold-plated piece: this would remove the gold plating.
Storing your jewelry
Keep each piece protected from air and humidity, ideally in its Mun Bijoux jewelry box. Store your jewelry separately to prevent chains from tangling and pieces from scratching each other.
